Great Job! A wonderful track especially for lower powered cars like the GTA or the Escort.
Coming from an old goodwood mod, I never imagined this track to be so bumpy. excellent work! shame we don't have the hillclimb layout yet. Keep up laddie.

Thank you :) There is a little discussion that it is possibly too bumpy, I think it must be pretty close, perhaps too bumpy between T1 and T2.
Excellent track! Thanks.

@mantasisg You have no less than Nailed it with this track,
The elevation changes and bumps on this track is in a class of it own--its a Benchmark track when it comes to surface, other track makers should look at this---and learn.
I have tried nearly all the Classic cars in AC on this track, and even the lap times match the real world--that's unusual .
Now it only needs a few more track objects ( not many ) and a fully functional pit area so it can be used in this years Goodwood Revival in the virtual world , which usually takes place between christmas and new year's eve .
I can only give you 5 stars=excellent , but it's Sublime .

Thanks for such a nice review ! I like the surface a lot too, I might smooth an area between Madgwick exit and entry of Fordwater, but not too much. I must collect best laptimes from Goodwood and make a record table, but yes, seems like laptimes are pretty close to the real ones, although there are slight differences in the cars which they use and what we have in AC, but some are really close. Thanks :)
Nice work, many thanks!
loving this track in historic cars, my favourite to race in AC. Thanks for bringing this track to AC.
Already my new favourite mod for Assetto Corsa, and will easily become my most used track! Thank you very much for a very needed update to this amazing circuit!
Great to get a more accurate version its such a perfect track for classics IMO, looking forward to future updates, Thank you..
Great track, much better than the other version. Just need to get the AI working in the pits.
Simply superb. I've been hoping for an updated version of this track, and this is excellent. The track now matches what I see when there watching live racing. In lew of the revival meeting last weeked, we were running the GPLEA version with the Lotus 25 on our server this week, and imediately swapped to this version after we spotted it. Love the undulations, make's it more techinical (and faster - St Mary's wow) to drive.

Thanks :) Yes St.Mary's section was probable the most off in the old mod, as well as the grid straight. I'm really happy to have a proper Goodwood now too, will race a lot no doubt, will be looking for servers and probably will race in yours too. Big thanks !
Brilliant.
Driving a DB5 in a field of 60's cars took me back to being there for the Revival in 08.
Thank You.
Goodwood is my favorit motorsport place on earth, and this great track gives my the possibility to test and learn the track.
I was 3 times as a spectator there and hope that I can drive once day with my ford capri 3.0S essex on the track.
Keep on the good work.
The most time of testing and driving I do on rfactor 1 simulator. Is it poossible to get this track also for rfactor 1?

I think that it is very possible. But I would expect it to be converted to Automobilista and rF2 :) I would give a permission, to an intelectual modder to do that. But I have to be asked. However, I'd guess that it would be logical to wait till the mod is developed further.
Brilliant track! Really gives the 'feel' of Goodwood. Thanks very much and keep up the great work!
What a great start, 5 stars easy, it's a great track you've made.
Quite bumpy, this does not really please AC physic and/or my G-25 FFB (old cars became a bit "upset" with default setting).
mantasisg
mantasisg
Thank you :) I also use G25, but I may have FFb set up well, also I use LUT generator, FFB is pretty awesome. At some parts feels like getting close to clipping, but never had any clipping there, I think all old cars, and most road cars copes very well with the bumps. Lots of time to decide and find out if any bumps should be smoothed out. The physical mesh will most definitely stay the same, I just might make some bumps to feel smoother, but it will not be major physical mesh overhaul.
Very nice, thanks a lot!
Very well done, feels like the real thing, although I never went, but from all the videos, it is like I imagined, thank you.
Like you, now can't wait for 250GTO to drive it here, meanwhile enjoying the Shelby Cobra.
Thanks for the update, great track. 5 stars when it is feature complete/is as high quality as a Kunos track...

It will probably never happen, because Kunos quality is not a joke ! Also they makes a living from this :) this being said, i will obviously seek for the best results I can reach.
