Inspiration taken from one of the most beautiful and deadly fighting machines to ever grace the sky, the Spitfire Mk IX.
First seeing active service in 1942 the years have been hard on the old girl and as such I reflected that in the paint work with edge damage, scrapes and faded or rusted areas for a bit of realism.
Comes in a range of 10 camo options for blending in and colonizing, ahem, I mean racing at other tracks around the world.
Some artistic licence taken, although not the pink one, it was genuinely used in the desert where the clouds would take on a pink hue during dawn and dusk making the spitfires almost totally invisible.
