Hard to say what hasn't already been said.
An absolutely brilliant mod in every way. The car models are gorgeous, as are the cockpits, and especially the details in the suspension (you can tell a lot of TLC went here). The engine sounds are great, very well done here. These cars are enormously entertaining to drive once you get the hang of them, even when on the circuit by yourself.
My only gripe - though no fault of the mod team - is that I wish a pre-shifter gearbox could be properly modeled in rFactor.
Excellent as all works from these modders! Cars are difficult to drive, I guess like in real life, and details are awesome as usual.
(I must have missed something in the last months... no more servers in the online section in rFactor: shall I assume no more racing online?)
Outstanding, such a well crafted and well researched mod. I really enjoy the massive variety in cars and handling. I was initially a little thrown off by the handling, but after spending time with each car you really get to understand how they are meant to be driven, the cars seem to make the most sense on the big high speed tracks like Spa or Reims, and you really have to fight just to keep them going straight, I love it! I also appreciate how realistically unbalanced the field is, the supercharged Alfa's are unmatched on speed, but I found I could win races in the smaller cars on more technical tracks, the Gordini at Monaco is a fun combo!
Amazing job guys! This mod is a true masterpiece, very well detailed all drivers and cars from 51' season really incredible. I drove this car at Silverstone and I got almost 9s off the pole not so bad in a car so hard to drive. From now on, Fangio, Ascari and other drivers from this era have all of my respect. Thanks for sharing and congratulations!

I was an rFactor car and track collector for about 10 years. My rFactor install looks like an interactive motorsport encyclopedia. The F1 1951 cannot be missed in that collection. The many mods that have been released for rFactor vary in quality. Some are bad or just don't work, others make rFactor work bad or sometimes even fail to start. Fortunately, many decent mods have also been made, and some of them are true masterpieces, where you can clearly see that a lot of work and time has gone into them. This F1 1951 mod is one such mod. The installation looks very neat and all details are well worked out. Attention has also been paid to a nice intro video and its own user interface. It takes some getting used to because many buttons are in a different place.
There are two drawbacks to this mod. The cars do well on old tracks from the 1950s/1960s, but most of these tracks look very dated graphically. rFactor can do much better than that.
And the cars drive very hard. A lot of power (a lot of wheelspin if you are not very careful with the throttle), no grip, and the braking distance is much longer than you are used to.
A mod for the real enthusiast.
Epic work. Epic Era. If there exist something like epic thanks, you deserve it.
Fantastic job as always guys! A masterpiece, models super detailed, great phyisics and sound!
