I will post the patcher tools to keep the files available. The patcher has worked for me on every new Nvidia driver to date for both x86 and x64 drivers. The patched drivers will work for any game. Older Nvidia GPU's do not suffer this problem as much as 900 series GPU.

LOD clamp can improve image quality... (jaggies)
Some of the addon tracks I have been using have a very high negative LOD bias, which is causing lots of pixelation.

My anti virus software is not happy with the x64 version of the patcher tool and I need to temporarily disable my AV to use it.The tools are not malicious afaik.

The WinRAR compressed file (Nvidia.LOD.Patcher.x86-x64.-Guzz.rar) as been password protected... the password = guzz

Code:

You can use this patcher to clamp negative LOD bias - Nvidia Display Driver Patcher.exe
Patcher should work with 275-337 series driver.

    Download it in folder "C:\123\"
    Copy file - nvd3dum.dll from "Windows\SysWOW64\" in "C:\123"
    Run patcher and click "Patch"
Copy patched nvd3dum.dll from "C:\123" in game folder where you want to get clamped negative LOD bias.

64-bit driver uses other dll - nvd3dumx.dll
So you need another patcher for this file - Nvidia Display Driver Patcher x64.exe
   • Download it in folder "C:\123\"
   • Copy file - nvd3dumx.dll from "Windows\System32\" in "C:\123"
   • Run patcher and click "Patch"
   • Copy patched nvd3dumx.dll from "C:\123" in game folder where you want to get clamped negative LOD bias.

For rFactor2 x64, patched nvd3dumx.dll should be placed in "rFactor2\Bin64" folder.
