Making another contribution into the pool of McLaren F1 skins on Race Department, and this time, it is the liveries of the #24 and #25 Fina Team Bigazzi semi-works team cars. These cars were entered in the 1996 BPR Silverstone 4 Hours as a shakedown before the 24 Hours of Le Mans the following month.
Both the iconic liveries were fun to work with. To me, the 25 ‘Union Jack / La Tricolore’ car had the most character, not only because it had twice the number of flags, but the hastily pasted mismatched numbers on the left side of the car surely has its own story to tell.
Likewise, both the 24 and 25 cars get their matching chassis numbers of 17R and 16R as found here https://supercarnostalgia.com/index-mclaren-f1-gtr-chassis-numbers.
Other small details include the updated engine detail bump maps, interior details and the deletion of the rivets on the fenders and skirtings.
Anyway, to install, simply unzip and drop them into assettocorsa\content\cars\ks_mclaren_f1_gtr\skins\.
