Note: Installing one of @Winner's No glare ... mod from his .rar package titled enhanced graphics plus ver1.2 is recommended b4 playing with this bonus All White for 2014 Mercedes, and can be downloaded there:http://www.racedepartment.com/forum/threads/enhanced-graphics-plus.83307/ because without it, the white displays will often be glaring to look at, and very bloomy.

If this mod's appearance looks too much pixelated, imagine they can be dirtier then your own phone screen... After all, Formula 1 garages have nothing in common with clean, neat, dirt-free Medical Clinics and also, you have better things to do than stare at your OLED-like display all the time while perfoming on tracks!!

Fictional OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) displays for 2014-modded cars are located inside the unzipped folders.

- The All White for 2014 Mercedes folder contains OLED-like WHITE GEAR and WHITE SPEED digits, as well as WHITE PEN (penalty), WHITE Pxx (position), and WHITE PIT IN characters.

- The backup folder contains a full backup of the game's original files

- The Black Gears & Black Speeds folder contains OLED-like BLACK GEAR and BLACK SPEED digits, as well as BLACK PEN (penalty), BLACK Pxx (position), and BLACK PIT IN characters.

- The Black Gears & Blue Speeds folder contains OLED-like BLACK GEAR and BLUE SPEED digits, as well as BLUE PEN, BLUE Pxx, and BLUE PIT IN characters.

- The Black Gears & Red Speeds folder contains OLED-like BLACK GEAR and RED SPEED digits, as well as RED PEN, RED Pxx, and RED PIT IN characters.

Also, all folders contain a related sand-timer icon that indicate how much ERS charge is left on each lap, since ERS systems are automated in 2014, as oppose to KERS in previous seasons (but in this game, ERS must be triggered manually with the left-hand's thumb animation, since it still is a 2013 game).

AGAIN, WARNING: Backup your previous f12013\simplefonts folder (4 files) to copy them back in there when needed, for some or many 8xs-90s cars will also see their dashboard appearances modified. A backup of the game's original simplefontsfolder is provided, read below.

How 2 Install:

1- Back up all your previously modded or original files located in your Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\Common\f12013\simplefonts folder to a safe location.

2- Download, unzip & copy the f12013 folder located in your chosen color-combination folder to your Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\Common folder.


3- To restore the game's original simplefonts folder's files, copy the f12013 folder that is provided inside the backup folder to your Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\Common folder,

OR

4- To restore your previously existing smallfonts folder's files you took the time 2 back up in a safe location b4 installing this mod, copy them back in Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\Common\f12013\simplefonts folder.


Works with all F1 2013's steering-wheel mods, as well as with the game's originals.

Remember: This mod is FICTIONAL and is not representative of anything real, but tries to get you as close to RL as it can be in this 2013 game.
