António Joaquim Borges Barreto (Évora, Portugal, 11 October 1931 - Saint-Étienne, France, 30 May 1957) was a Portuguese motor racing driver. Barreto's interest in speed and automobiles led him to compete in automobile competitions, ending up being the first and only Portuguese person to race for Ferrari. His career was abruptly cut short when he lost his life in an accident during the 2 hours of Forez, in Saint Etienne, following a collision with Piero Carini. (source Wikipedia)
