Hi everyone! Hope you're having a good week!
I've been quite into the 60's/70's era of F1 recently and I've been driving a lot of different car mods that are available for Assetto Corsa depicting this era, one of those being @Emil_1988 's awesome 1970 Ferrari 312B! Even in it's v0.6, W.I.P state here on RaceDepartment, it's a really solid mod at this stage and I've had a lot of fun driving it around classic tracks like Spa & Monaco in recent weeks!

To add to my enjoyable experience, I decided to make some slightly higher resolution 4K liveries for this car than what originally came with the mod! (Mostly to take some nice close-up screenshots xD)
I believe @Emil_1988 has now joined the great "Historic Sim Studios", a group that creates very high quality historic cars & tracks for Assetto Corsa and the mod has been picked up by the team for further development. I believe the v1.0 release of this car is soon around the corner, so be sure to check out Historic Sim Studios' website & Patreon if you want to get your hands on the updated version when it releases!

Huge shout out to @Emil_1988 for making this incredible mod! These liveries are not meant to undermine any of the work they've already done. I'm just passionate about sim racing & creating liveries so I figured I'd share them with the wider community to enjoy on the run up to the v1.0 release! I'm certain the full Historic Sim Studios release will be of even higher quality!
Changes & Inclusions:
- New number style
- Higher resolution sponsor logos
- Slightly "deeper" red colour
- Added "Britax" logo
- Added AO
- Changed wheel rim colour slightly
- Changed tyre sidewall colour to white
I highly recommend installing @Rainmaker_87 's updated driver models for this era as well. (Adds some more period-correct gloves compared to Kunos gloves. Helps add a little more immersion in cockpit view) You can find those here: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/historic-gloves-and-suits-for-60s-70s-and-80s-driver.64322/
Be sure to check out my YouTube Channel "Timonike" as I will be posting updates & gameplay over there! (at some point xD)
Here's some previews of the livery in CM Showroom:
Installation:
To install, first download the zip folder containing the livery files. Once this has been completed, copy these files into your Assetto Corsa game folder. This will look something like this:
?:\steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\cars\ferrari_312b\skins\(paste here)\
Replace any files that explorer tells you and voila! You should now be able to use this livery in Assetto Corsa!
Thanks for taking the time to view this mod!
