Chances of gearbox issues greatly reduced

Removal of permanent gearbox issue which would just give sudden terminal damage message.
Temporary gear box issues remain but can last from few mins to the rest of the race

Experimental version chance of gearbox issue decreased as people were getting too many faults.

Changes on overview page
New v5.2 version has reduced probability of debris puncture. After race at weekend felt chance should be lowered.
Also effect of wear to CE now occurs at all speeds when its really worn.
Small changes to engine fuel burn rate using different mixtures
Small changes to engine temperatures using different mixtures.


Also included is a new experimental version with gearbox issues that can occur at any time in the life of the gearbox. Jammed gears and missing gears causing short temporary problems or it could end your race. This is an experimental version as I cant test the probability of it occurring. I have aimed for couple of times a season but its impossible for me to do endless testing to prove this. Please use this at your own risk but feedback of how many times you get gearbox problems would be great. Then we can adjust the probability to the right level

Both versions are included in the single download. Pick the version you want to use and install as normal

Rework of grip for when punctures and blow outs occur. Should be much more realistic now

New improvements to punctures.

Changes make punctures from debris more realistic.

E.g hitting a barrier and breaking part of front nose will cause puncture to a tyre if run over. Puncture will occur no matter on speed. There is still a chance you can run over debris and not get puncture but it has increased from vanilla.

Engine heating system changed.

Overheating caused by following cars, more cooling from clean air.
Allows running in higher engine modes without overheating issues unless following cars
Tweaked engine running temps to work better with new files

Following cars will effect what engine mode can be use without overheating. Normal and Lean can be used to cool, or backing off car infront

New release for v1.12 data.

Please reinstall overwrite the files in the team folder as before.

The data now uses that from v1.12 release. Hopefully this should resolve blurry graphics issues
Now includes brake wear and failure

Brakes will wear over the course of the race. It can be monitored on the MFD.
If pushed too far they will fail completely with forced retirement.

Also small changes to brake temperatures (how they heat and cool) to work better with this mod but shouldn't show a massive difference

Feedback welcome as impossible to test all cars and all tracks with this one.
I dont think this will effect the ai but not 100%
Engine now more prone to overheating.

Running on higher engine modes will cause engine to overheat
Following cars closely will cause engine to overheat.

This should cause more engine wear throughout a season.

Using Lean and Normal modes will allows temperatures to drop
