Just a little realism mod for the current F1 driver line up.
This mod can be used on any driver model that uses DRIVER_Face.dds.
Install: Just copy and paste each file (DRIVER_Face.dds, DRIVER_Face_NM.dds) into your desired skin folder. Most of the popular driver models use this texture (RSS, ACSPRH V1 and 2 etc).
Most of the custom helmets have quite a dark visor with little transparency. To see the faces a bit better, open whichever helmet texture you use in something like paint.net.
Identify where the visor part is on the texture.
Highlight it with 'magic wand'.
Cut and paste in to a new layer.
On that new layer, go to 'Layer' tool bar and select 'Layer Properties'.
Set that layer to about 120 on the 'Opacity' slider.
Merge the layer down and save.
Make sure you make a back up of the helmet texture before hand.
The video uses the ACSRPH V2 helmets in the RSS Hybrid 2023 cars but will work on SDD, ACFL etc.
(all 20 current drivers plus Danny Ricciardo included. RD will only allow 10 images to be uploaded)
