F-Retro Gen3 1983 Skinpack

This Skinpack was made by members of TAMS2SP - The AMS2 Skinning Project.

It includes 24 liveries, helmets and a coresponding AI-file to replicate the 1983 season:

Due to the limitation of 24 skins in the game, we could not include the second Theodore (#33 Guerrero) and the second Toleman (#36 Giacomelli). You will find the skins in a subfolder, and if you know how to handle the AMS2 XML-files, you can exchange them for any driver as you like.

Humpty (aka mungopark) made an AI-file according to the 1983 results and balance of power. It was very tricky to balance the Turbo and V8 cars to get realistic results. To achieve that, he had to lower the AI-skills of the Non-Turbo cars. This leads to a relatively low average skill level in the pack. To compensate that, you can increase the general opponents skill level with the slider in the game.

Hello, this skinpack contains skins for all Formula Retro Gen3 cars in the game - not the cars itself. I have checked again and the Brabham skins are in the brabham_bt52 subfolder of the pack. If you can't see the Brabham BT52 in the game, maybe you haven't purchased it yet? This car doesn't come withe the basic game, it is part of the "Brazilian Racing Legends Pack Pt1" DLC.

Can you please tell me what livery/area you find blurry? Have you checked the .dds file how that looks? Is it while driving in the game or whatching the car in the showroom? Don't forget you only have 4096 x 4096 pixels for the whole car. That's down to the game limits and not the skinpack.

The Brabham BT52 is confirmed by Reiza to come out a bit later. That’s why didn’t make any Brabham skins for the Gen3 model. As the shape of the BT52 is so unique, I think it’s worth waiting for it to complete the 83 grid…
