DTM/ITC 1995 all tracks and cars 1.0

Login or Register an account to download this content
Here's a Championship with all cars and tracks from the 1995 DTM/ITC championship.

A bit of background information:

Ballast has been added to the Alfa Romeo and Opel cars, so that all cars on the grid do roughly the same lap times. The Opel Calibra has been given a lot of ballast and is relatively slow in this Championship, just as it was in the real 1995 championship.

If you find the opposition too slow, you can use the in-game ballast app to add ballast to your own car. In the real championship the winning cars were given ballast in the following races, so you can use the ballast app to follow that rule, if you place well in some of the races.

In the real championship the drivers had only one lap to set a qualifying time, so I have restricted qualifying to 4 minutes.

Requirements:

This mod requires Content Manager and Custom Shaders Patch.

It also requires the following tracks to be installed.

Hockenheimring:

Avus:

Norisring:

Diepholz:

Nurburgring 2001 layout:

Alemannenring:

Helsinki:

Donington:

Estoril:

Magny-cours:

Cars:

If you have the Opel Calibra ITC car installed already, please delete or rename the folder before installing this mod.

This mod includes a patched version of the Opel Calibra, which works well with the tracks in this championship.

Installing the championship files:

Unzip the file downloaded from this page.

Copy the six files named ' 8e0ceafb-8608-4f78...' to the folder \Documents\Assetto Corsa\champs

Copy the other files to your Assetto Corsa 'content\cars' and 'content\tracks' folder, allow them to overwrite existing files.

This should be enough to get the Championship to work in Assetto Corsa / Content Manager.
If you have the paid version of Content Manager, you can edit the Championship as you like.

To give credit to the creators of some of the content, here are links to the mods that are included in the patched version of the Opel Calibra that comes with this championship:

The car.ini has been edited, value STEER_LOCK=180 has been changed to STEER_LOCK=360

This enables the car to turn the tight hairpin on Alemannenring.

For the tracks, I have included the following mods:

There are also a couple of my own mods to improve the track texture on Alemannenring and reduce the bumps on Nurburgring.
