I am not a modder and I have no idea of Python. However, I still wanted to have an app which plays a sound when I drift. So, I downloaded the Driftbox app and the DRSSound Fix 3.0, removed all the code that I did not need and combined both apps. It took many days trying to make it work and not crash, but I finally made it.
The result is Drift Sound, an app which congratulates you with some nice words when you drift your car. Different sounds are randomly chosen from a list. I have included 3 sounds, but you can add more or replace them with what you want. My sounds are synthetic voices from https://ttsdemo.com. I have added a radio sound effect and some static noise to make them sound like a radio spotter.
Actually, I have other speech sounds (see the included SimHub folder) which I use for events triggered with SimHub, such as for instance when I stay on pits for too long, when my car takes damage or when I run out of fuel. This has nothing to do with the Drift Sound app, but I am including the files in case you like them.
There are some configurable settings in my app: SlipAngleMin (minimum drift angle required), SlipAngleMax (maximum drift angle allowed - not sure if this one is working correctly), DriftTime (minimum drift time required) and DriftSpeedMin (minimum speed required). You can change these values to what you prefer.
Since I am not a pro drifter, my goal was to hear the speech when I occasionally slide my car for some seconds when racing or hotlapping. Maybe for serious drifters this app makes no sense or very different settings are required. It is not very precise either. For instance it does not really know if the slide is completed successfully so you may end up on a spin and still get the congratulation. I do not know if that can be controlled.
If you want to disable the visible app window (which is useless), edit C:\Users\[Username]\Documents\Assetto Corsa\cfg\acos.ini and change VISIBLE=1 to VISIBLE=0
I am not responsible if this app crashes the rest of your apps. Please make a backup of C:\Users\[Username]\Documents\Assetto Corsa folder in case something goes wrong.

PD: yes, I am laughing at you.
