This mod is perfect, it gives you a lot of boost when you have the racing turbo, i am speachless about how this mod is perfect. ( Sorry for my english)

Hi again. I have not heard the big turbos new sounds yet(variable pitch and stuff).
I hope you read what I meant about turbo flutter and blowoff sounds. The pressure inside the system must go somewhere when releasing the gas, (Blocking the turbo-engine inlet)

With a proper blowoff valve, a flutter wont occur. You will just hear a strong wind being released out of the system. Without one, the pressure will force its way out the turbine, causing it to stall, and make the iconic flutter.

MY POINT:
I seriously miss either a blowoff sound or flutter on the gt turbo. (Cant see if there is a blowoff valve on it)
I prefer using the small turbo, because of better traction and because I can use the basic hoods.

Heard the new sounds for the GT turbo recently, but liked the old ones better. A turbo sound should be whisteling, but now the gt turbo kind of sound like a whineing pig... (No offense, I could have saved the old ones and used them instead, but i sadly replaced them)

The GT turbocharger doesn't have a blowoff sound because it has an internal wastegate like a stock turbo usually has. These usually don't really make a sound. Some cars don't even have one.

you can always change back the audio. The original file is still in the Assets folder. You just need to rename it.

Blow-off valve myth #2: The fluttering sound is usually believed to be the blow-off valve. In reality, it is caused by a blow-off valve, but does not come from the blow-off valve. If the spring pre-load is adjusted too tight, this will cause compressor surge, which as described above is the sound of air exiting the turbo.


The main problem about changing the sound is finding the sound. The only files I was able to find where the flutter sounds.
So if you know a place where i can find a file that does a good blowoff sound. Give it to me :)
(It needs to be clear, nothing recorded from a car or something as you always be able to hear the background noise (like engine, talking).


Adding to that. I think most people would like the flutter sound more. So if I have a good sounding blowoff valve sound. I would add a way to switch between them

Very nice mod but it still needs some adjustments. The turbo and intercooler wears down in only 20 min. Can you make an option to remove the wear?

Wear won't be removable. In the next update the wear will be reduced. At max boost (2.5bar) it will then take around 2h of full throttle

Nice mod!!... Btw, if i recall corectly, whenever the turbo outlet is blocked, by releasing the gas, it wil make a flutter sound. Well, if it has boost. So I miss that the pitch and frequenzy on the flutter should be higher at higher boost levels, and lower frequenzy and pitch at lower pressures. Same goes for the GT turbo, so it would be cool with a flutter or at least a blowoff sound at that one too. Also, you should implement two new bearings for the crankshaft, and make the engine break if you only drive with three bearings. It feels stupid when you drive with a turbo so big that its over the hood, with a 3-bearing-engine... Otherwise, everything with this mod is great! Keep up the good work! I have the blowoff thing set to 2.50 and i dont feel much difference in speed.
And it is showing at top left 'power multiplier' and it is not changing with or without turbo. (1.00)

The Debug information is not showing the actual value anymore not sure why. The multiplier is still working like it should.

The big turbo kicks in quite late but hard. After that the boost increases slower and you don't feel it that much. You only feel it at high speed because you will reach it faster

Race turbo and weber (raceCarb) and all other parts needed to connect them (like intercooler)

Then increase boost to max on the blowoff valve

Literally best mod ever, put this on your Satsuma, and you will be paying for tires like you pay for gas!!! Also this thing makes your car looking like it got in the hands of a Ricer, great looking in screenshots, and on the dyno!!!

i cant screw in the screws. And i have installed screwableaprts api but it doesnt work. first it said error in the turbo gauge. and then i installed the screwable parts api and now your mod just disables.

From update 2.0 for me doesnt work,i try to delete save game,make a new one,reinstall mods,reinstall parts etc,boost gauge says error and turbo doesn t work.. I installed all pieces....
