Detroit Belle Isle 2017 GT
Conversion from GTR2 to Race 07 by Sergio Hundo
Thanks Enders, the track's creator to rFactor, for allowing this track as freeware. You did an excellent job. Congratulations ! But I also want to thank Neel Jani for the great GTR2 conversion. I really appreciate your work too, Neel. Congratulations for your great work on this track. I sent e.mail and left a notice on the Neel Jani website, but no response. Whoever has contact with him, let him know about all this.
For more details about this GT version, please read the original and GTR2 files (take a look, because there is important information about the number of cars, the formation of the grid and about the pit).
Known issues:
- There are two places on the track that have an error in the layout, causing the cars to sometimes leave the normal layout and "invade" the side, but it does not affect the race, as they do not collide in the short walls (they are not solid for not error). Anyone who knows how to fix this, get in touch (i tried settings in AIW the line "wp_dwidth=(17.685,16.949,0.000,0.000) // collision left, collision right, cut left, cut right), but no success.
- I included several shadows on objects on the track, but I didn't test it at all times, so, whoever experiences any error in shading the track, get in touch too.
- There is a small section of the track (hardly noticeable) that the rain reflex texturing is a little different from the others. But it doesn't hurt so much visually either, as it is a short stretch.
The purpose of all this is to provide entertainment, without any financial or commercial return. Have fun ! This is enough.
Instalation:
Unzip rar file with Winrar or similar program and paste in Location folder in Race 07. Enjoy !!!
