It gets better with each update. Thanks for this historic version of the track. It never felt right racing vintage cars with the bus stop in place.
Really cool project. Only thing it really needs is a populated infield and maybe some higher quality textures and mesh round the oval. Other than that, really cool; we need more historic mods like this.
Hi thank you for this new update of the Daytona track 1960\1970 , I wanted to know if in the next update is contemplated the public at the side of the track, because I only saw marshals with placards, Thank you for your kind response.

Gets better and more immersive each update. However as some others stated, corner 9 and 10 (the 2 final oval turns) have a way too rough mesh, resulting in AI cars spinning. I compared with the original Daytona and that track doesn't have these issues.

Hopefully next iteration gets smoothened track mesh and (grass) texture updates, with a little TLC this can become a true classic.

Updates are great. The new stands look awesome! only big issue I have now is the tri oval banking transition is rough and I get air if im in the middle of the track or higher on entry to the tri oval and on exit. also seems a bit less banked but im more concerned with the transition

Yup. GREAT job so far. Echo the other comments about barbeque fire smoke and track surface brightness. Thanks for bringing this (frankly terrifying in a 917) circuit era into the game.
Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for finally bringing this vintage version of daytona to life for AC. But I have a few points I'd like to mention:

The first is that it seems that everything is too bright in the day: grass, asphalt - the brightness of textures can be lowered a little, to be more real (+add some better looking trees around the track).

Another point is that at night some indirect lights could be added in the middle of the circuit (such as parked car headlights, camera clicks, flares), so that we could have some lights, being historical accurate.

And finally, I think there was an error in the circuit's extension file - it has an absurd repetition of SMOKE (like, 60), which causes a giant lag when playing. I had to remove everything, because besides being annoying, it crashed every 5 minutes.

Anyway, keep on with the project. It has huge potential!!!
Thank you for this historical circuit, excellent work, one question, can you have an update of the road surface making it a little darker than the , because it is the same colour as the outer walls.

Yes, I'll fix it in version 1.1.
I really like the new 70´s layout. But It need a little polish up and some lights at the pits. Then it would be perfect
Track layout is correct and track is on its way when this is complete it will be fantastic. But as it is now its exactly what It says 1970 with no objects. only bit thats off would be safer barriers being in the track still once those are gone it will be correct to time. before objects of course. Great Start man keep up the work!
