Attached are thirty-six historically accurate liveries for the Datsun 240Z BRE, skillfully modeled and tuned by deCarrera. Those familiar with my work are probably aware I like the S30 Z, so since discovering the model I've been researching and slowly rendering these skins through much of Autumn, and was aiming to make these available to all of you for the Holidays.
I strived to make sure that colors, designs, and decals were as close as I could get to what were on the actual Fairlady and 240Zs, bar the limitations of the model and texture map. The cars replicate the legends that ran in the US, Japan, and UK back during the 1970s, and represent both the best and more obscure of the Datsun 240Z, Nissan Fairlady Z, and Fairlady Z432R in motorsports.
So I do hope you consider giving the 240z and these skins a download in order to either recreate historic vintage races, or just have some cool classic Japanese sports cars to fill your grid. Huge thanks to the JGT Discord server, which works to archive records and photographs of Japanese motorsports from it's beginnings to the modern day.
I do personally recommend running with the Vintage Slicks tire option. Both tire options are fun, but the VS gives a much more planted level of grip.
