When I first drove the 1970 Corvette LT1 by smallblockhero I was impressed with how it drove and handled compared to so many other Corvettes out there. I decided to use this great foundation to create a 454 version of the same car. It wasn't just an engine swap as I was changing a small block car to a heavier big block. I adjusted the weight of the car, the center of gravity, sway bar settings and also shift parameters for those who want to drive as an automatic. There may have been other things I don't remember. In the end this Corvette turned out to be the best driving C3 Corvette in my stable. Certainly worthy of an upload to Race Department.
Installation:
As this is just a data replacement you need to have the 1970 Corvette LT1 by smallblockhero (Donny Heerdt). It can be found at A******land or you can also likely find it by doing an internet search for it. Download the car and keep it in your stable as is. It's a great car.
Make a new folder and call it "corvette_454_1970"
Copy everything from inside the Corvette LT1 folder and paste it all into your new folder you just created.
Inside the zipped folder you will download here you will find a new data folder and a new ui folder. Copy those two folders and paste them into your corvette_454_1970 folder. Overwrite files as prompted.
You will need to change the sfx for the new car in order to have working sound. If you have Content Manager then use the "replace sound" feature to use the sound from another one of your cars. I used the AC Legends 1969 Corvette.
It's ok to message me if you have any questions.
I've never owned a big block Corvette but this one drives very realistically to me. Others may have different opinions and that's ok too. Enjoy!-----OldRebel
P.S. I didn't leave the data.acd file in this one, haha.
