Just tried this out. I like it better than the stock sounds.

Hehe, if you want you can take more of the sounds from the old games.

just remember, the sounds from 2016 don't work in 2013, but the older sounds work in 2016!

Honestly don tknow - i dont play online. Logically speaking though, you should be able to as no "core" files are altered

Great mod, but is there a way to use the same engine sound file for teams powered by the different engines? For example, getting ferrari and mercedes to sound the same...

yep! just replace the audio files.

i.e. to make ferarris to sound like mercs you would copy the ferarri and mercedes sound files, delete the original ferarri file, then rename the copy of the mercedes file to what the ferarri file was called before. poof! done!

its a pretty simple thing to do - just copy the files from F1 2013, but yeah, not everyone knows how to do that, so this should hopefully make it easier for those people :D

its a pretty simple install.

download the file. open the file. drag the "audio" folderfrom the file into your f12016 folder. done.

ideally, create a backup copy of the original files just in case, but you get the idea

Technically - the mclaren already uses a V8, but sure, can do.

I'll probably have it sorted by tonight. I'm a little busy today but once im free ill sort it out

whats funny is the mclaren sound is actually a V8 sound (there wasnt enough v10s in f1 2013!

it has a blown diffuser sound though, so ill let it off because that thing sounds amazing

since F12016 uses the exact same sound system as F1 2010-14, it is really really easy to port sounds over from the older games ^^

literally copy them from the old ones, change the names and done.

of course - back up files first. might want them back!
