- Up to 2 AI.
A fantasy "What if?" situation, Carrickatuke Raceway is a race track imagined in the eyes of 427 Motorsports, in their hometown of Armagh, Ireland. Just over the road from home, this would be a test facility for them to test out their builds and projects, as well as perform testing for manufacturers and perform car reviews.
What were originally fields filled with trees have become a track with large sweeping turns, gravity-battling weight transfer and long straights allowing for speeds as high as 190mph - with the right car.
Designed for hotlapping and for the three 427 lads to have battles among themselves, this track allows for up to 2 AI, giving tight battles among three cars with not a lot of room to overtake.
Suited for low, mid and high powered cars, this testing ground is perfect for getting to know a car for the first time.
Based at a local beauty spot, the original car park and communications tower are in tact, now with a retarmaced car park and the field next to it is now the 427 Headquarters. The beauty spot overlooks the rural area of Keady, Darkley and more. It's said on a very clear day you can see Armagh town, Belfast, Newry, Craigavon and even as far as Lough Neagh.
RainFX: Scaff (GTPlanet)
GrassFX and Track Cams: DaBaeda (GTPlanet)
The track is a lot of fun to drive and can catch you off guard in a few places.
It's not perfect but I'm working on improving it everyday.
The Bad:
The AI can sometimes clip walls - it may need redone, but it is designed for primarily hotlapping - I will get it sorted. Track map doesn’t work properly either.
Not all walls are solid. All blue and white walls are though. Still learning the KSEditor settings.
