Car Selection Tile Editor 1.1

None of this is by me, i'm simply putting all the files together in order to make editing the car selection tiles easy.

Uses Special K texture editor / injector :

https://steamcommunity.com/groups/SpecialK_Mods

I've included the default car selection tiles as they are kind of a pain to get a hold of if you don't know what you are doing.

Instructions : extract all the folder / files into your main dirt rally folder, then simply find the .dds files in the SK_Res folder and edit them as you see fit.

once you are done editing simply overwrite the original .dds using the same format/name then the game will use your edited file/s instead.

Please feel free to redistribute this mod with your own liveries / selection tiles

If you would like to use my custom tiles, as shown below extract the SK_Res folder from here : https://1drv.ms/u/s!AthYoE0KaQe7pT5RAft3Gs4wVeGe?e=Y7F4AY (you will still need to install the mod)

I'm so glad these tools exist, thank you. But a tutorial on how to create custom tiles based on the livery mod you have installed is sorely missing, I have all the tools, but I don't know what to do with them. As a side request, I would like to request you upload more custom tiles based on the most popular liveries such as Richard Burns' Bugeye, Colin's Focus from 2001 and 2002, Ari's Escort MKII, Sainz' Integrale and Escort Cosworth, Henri Toivonen's 037 Martini and Rothman's Opel Manta, Mouton's Fiat Abarth, Rorhl's Audi Quattro, Pat Moss' Alpine, Loeb's 2 variants of the C4, Neuville's I20, etc.
Looks very promising but i don't manage to get it work .
How do you create the new tiles ?

you need to edit a tile to see if it works, you will need a capable paint program (gimp, paint shop) with a "dds" plugin, in order to edit the tiles (which are in .dds format)
