This skin is based on the 1970 F1 GP at Brands Hatch. The idea came from the realisation that no vintage version of Brands Hatch can be found on AC.
This is a 1st track skin attempt, which means that it may contain errors and inaccuracies that I will be pleased to correct if you point them out to me.
Some of the designs are taken from Stephen Bailey's very good 1999 skin, with his kind permission, as they use colours and logos that better represent the 70s era than the red panels of the current circuit.
This mod is divided into a skin and a layout:
- the skin includes all the 1970 graphics
- the layout includes an extension.ici file that removes many objects that didn't exist at the time
To use the mod correctly, you need to choose the layout, then select the skin.
Unfortunately, many of the stands have disappeared since 1970, and some of the buildings didn't exist at the time, as did some of the fences, which I had to leave because the colliders would have been invisible. It's nothing but a skin applied to a modern track...
