I have corrected all bonnet cameras (called TV Cockpit ingame) to be more like in other racing titles, because I found them really off in Automobilista. Changed positioning and angles, centered on open wheelers.
Instruction:
1) Extract .zip
2) Copy GameData folder into main game folder
3) Allow to replace files
Those are simply .cam files with camera positioning. Changed only TV cockpit cameras, other are stock. Keep in mind if you put those files, all your previous personal camera angles (if had any) will reset.
I edited it to suit 45 degree FOV, so this is what suits best, however +/- 5 degree should be fine too. Sample screens have been taken at 1366x768 resolution.
I know, playing racesims using hood/bonnet camera is considered as a faux pas, but I have tiny 18.5" monitor, about 1m far away. I want to see as much of the track as I can, and every cm of interior is undesirable, this is why I decided to use this camera angles in racing titles. Wish I could afford bigger screen and better PC to handle larger resolutions and sizes someday.
