best sound so far! is it possible to use this mod for e92 drift as well? i didnt manage to make it work with the drift version..

sorry to reply so late but i use it with the e92 drift by utilizing the "replace sound" feature within content manager, in the content tab

Good job. To improve it IMO you need to add just a little metallic, high frequency sound.

Sounds better than the stock Kunos sound for sure. Someone mentioned to make the sound "deeper" and I may be able to help with that. "Amplified NL" has made some of the most realistic sounding car mods and I actually have a BMW M3 E92 GUID and .bank by Amplified NL before they deleted almost all of their sound and made it private. You can listen to the exterior hood sound here: https://soundcloud.com/amplifiednl/bmw-m3-e92-sound , but of course he took the download down (probably planning to sell them). I managed to download the .bank and GUID a couple years ago and the cabin noise is extremely realistic sounding and has a very deep thrumming. Again it's the most realistic car sound I've heard in any racing simulator.

How has anyone after 6 years not come that close to Amplified NL yet?

It's so depressing how they took the download links down...

wow.. yea that sounds really good, I believe the biggest difference between that one and mine is that the samples in that sound are of much higher quality, as I am working with lower end equipment. thank you for the review and ill try and see what I can do with the soundcloud link you provided.

honestly a great start. If anything, there just needs to be more low end and a bit more smoothness in between each sample. can't wait for the next update!
