A very basic early version of an historic raceway that existed at Mt Manganui, New Zealand from 1967 to 1995. It's now disappeared beneath an housing estate. I used to visit the track as a 10 year old kid in the 1970's.
This is a very basic track but the track layout is accurate being based on geo-referenced historical aerial imagery. The real track also had camber on the corners and a dip in the track on the start / finish straight. This doen't it's completely flat.
I've posted this mainly if there's a Kiwi out there who might like a drive around old Baypark. As I'm enjoying this I've decided to continue with the project a while longer.
