Little Disclaimer;
Almost everything, from models and textures to CSP lighting/effects/extras are all in a placeholder state. Expect models to be replaced and environment decoration to be refined and remade in coming updates.
I really am learning these tools from nothing and will improve this track over time.
This is a scratch-built map based off of the Main Street Drift track from Need for Speed Carbon, made from nothing more than the map image and going back to play the track to see how it feels.
The main goal for the track was to replicate the track layout and capture the feel from the arcade game in Assetto Corsa.
The environment design is not aiming to copy the game, but instead is going to be designed to be a totally different style of event than in the game.
This is my first time using Blender and the Assetto SDK, and was done to be a very basic entrance into making ambitious projects for Assetto and other programs/games.
Ideally the map will become quite detailed and polished while the filesize remains small.
The track is extremely wide, and the original actually looks even wider.
This gives you so many lines to choose from, even lets you "drift race".
Also great fun in go-karts with friends.
This track is rough around the edges and is missing a lot of planned things to be added (Horizon-style festival and other drivable areas).
I'm uploading this as the industry I work in is coming back to life so I already have a lot less time to work on it, as well as losing motivation over time.
I want to get this out there so I can hear peoples ideas and criticisms to build my motivation and work on it again.
