I have done as yuo say. i have put all files in the root folder of automobilista. and run the program. i also allowed it through my firewall. so i runt he program and it says can not find automobilista a window comes up and i point to the folder where automobilista is installed it says there is an update from 5.1.1 to 5.1.2 but the update is disabled at the moment and can not update. there are 2 small windows 1 behind another the one behind has yes no and details i click yes. and then i choose continue on the other screen in front. the program loads up and nothing. no mods nothing there no way to install or uninstall mods. the program is useless.
After last update, it went from awesome to basically a crappy app. The way it works now wasn't an improvement at all, unless you are a backward-minded monkey (not talkign about anyone in particular, least of all the author)
Excellent. I have the same "bug" reported before, "Automobilista could not be found" but whatever, the application is nice and I'm sure you will find a solution. Thank you!!
Since 0.3, the manager looks in your registry to find your AMS install location. I f it can't find the key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Steam App 431600\installLocation" you will get this error. I'm not sure why you're getting this error if your AMS is installed correctly but I'll have a look at it.
Meanwhile, can you manually check if you have the key in your registry?
Works as intended. You need to add an exception to your firewall if you are using one. No cars as of yet, only tracks, will see how it goes when car mods are available.
Overall, very promising and quite functional even at this very early stage.
