The project for the realization of a racing circuit rose from the intuition of one enterpreneur: Ettore Bonara, from Brescia, owner of a company operating in the exploitation of gravel pits and of some construction companies, ex amateur driver and car fan.
Around fifteen years ago, he launched the hypothesis of turning an exhausted pit into a racetrack. This was an unusual hypothesis of environmental recovery which was first approved by Regione Lombardia (first approval signed by Franco Nicoli Cristiani, Environment Chairman of the administration, by then) and, afterwards, by Comune di Castrezzato, situated on the boundaries of Franciacorta, between Brescia and the Iseo lake.
The initial idea of a racetrack for competitions, rallies and free practicing for cars and motorcycles, eventually developed into a more extensive and innovative project which aims at creating a previously unreleased "fun centre" based on engines, but not only which targets the whole families.
It is, practically, a big container for differentiated structures targeting various users but pursuing one simple end: promoting an entertainment experience for families during the entire week, proposing a viable alternative to "static" malls which in the interested area have become the only real meeting points for families.
Even if the autodrome is still the most important element of the global project, other structures were realized:
- e-Kart: an indoor karting track for electric karts;
- ACI Safe Drive center: an important center of Safe Drive (associated to Vallelunga installation) which aims at giving classes to companies, private entities as well as public administrations, in the field of management of the licences reserved to motorcycles and driving licence recovery;
- leisure structures;
- piloting schools;
- Riding School (motorcycles) & Formula Guida (cars);
- the restaurant “Novecentoundici”, fast-food and bar RollBar;
- Meeting centre for presentations and company conventions;
- Music Club for 500 pers.
