Beautiful mod, and the sound volume changing with the engine is awesome, , obviously you are a man with a good tastes, good job. And this only remember me a good old times, like in Race Driver Grid the first one, with this interactive music , awesome

For files that don't play, follow the steps in the desc and import and export it out of audacity, fixed the issue for me. Finally works good

Excellent addon! After doing some stuff through windows I got it working correctly without any issues,here's what you do:

Search for folder options, and open Control Panel’s Folder Options tool (called File Folder Options in some versions of Windows). Click the View tab, and check Always show icons, never thumbnails.

This will disable the making of hidden files such as thumbs.db,and any album cover art related to the music itself

After you do that,tick "show system files" and go into your music folder,and delete the jpg and thumbs.db files there,if you did everything correctly,they should be removed without any issues,after you've done that,you can untick the "show system files" option and play with this mod correctly

It seems like this is a great addon for most people. I know it mentions in the description that certain mp3 files don't work, but what exactly causes the music from not playing? I have a playlist of 18 songs and only 2 play :(. I really want to play my songs so if there is any way you know of to circumvent the issue, I would appreciate you letting me know.

The issue is, I don't know either. The mp3 loader depends on Window's MCI system, and I can't seem to pinpoint the similarities of the mp3 files that don't work, and seems completely random to me.

it works perfectly actually!

if i wanted to direct the search to another drive/folder other than C/music, how would i go about doing so? I checked the config.ini hoping it could be done there but that doesn't seem to be it

Ahaha I think you just got lucky... I've found a million ways to break the app, but with no ways to fix them.

For now i'm not planning to update the app unless someone suggests a way to overcome some of the fundamental problems, but this is what u can do in the meantime.

Open the "autoBGM.py" file, and go to the last line in the file.
Change: return str(buf.value)
Into: return "C:/your/path"

You can also replace the drive letter

I put my music folder inside (This PC > Volume D: > #my name# > Music) is it correct?

A few days ago I though it would be a good idea to play some Eurobeat on VLC Players whilst on the SRP Servers. This app makes it way easier. From time to time it stops when I hit the "next song" button. And I'd Love if you could change the music directory to another folder on your PC

If you hit the "home" button, you can see which song caused it to stop. Due to limitations of the windows MCI system that it relies on, it will stop if it comes across some problems, such as folder or file names that contain non-latin characters. It'll be nice to help to identify what other types of issues cause it to stop!

Probably not, as technically CM is not really part of AC. Maybe you can request Ilya for something like that?
