The Aston Martin DB4 GT was easily outclassed by Ferrari's 250 SWB SEFAC. And so the DB4 GT Zagato was born - lighter and more powerful than its predecessor. However, it did not see much success in the World Sportscar Championship, with its highest finish being a 3rd place at the Tourist Trophy in 1961 in the hands of Roy Salvadori.
