INSTALATION PROCESS:
- Upon downloading the .rar file, unzip them (or drag-and-drop the files) on your Automobilista 2 install location, on the following:
(Steam\steamapps\common\Automobilista 2\Vehicles\Textures\CustomLiveries\Overrides\mercedes_amg_gt3)
Folder should look like this:
WHAT IF I ALREADY HAVE AMG GT3 SKINS INSTALLED?
There's two things you can do:
1. Copy/Back-up/Rename the existing "mercedes_amg_gt3.xml" BEFORE you install the skin pack. Otherwise you might lose the original reference of the previously installed skins and you might have to reinstall them to restore it.
2. Manually edit the XML file: This is more advanced, but you can manually edit the "mercedes_amg_gt3.xml" to insert the skins you want into the game.
This will involve a bit of manual work and simple knowledge of how AMS2 skin editing works and how XML works, but basically you'll have to insert into the XML on Livery ID's that haven't been used previously, or overwrite specific liveries that you want
DESCRIPTION
This was born as a curiosity project of mine to see how interchangeable the AMG GT3 is between PCars 2 and AMS2 - as it was stated by Reiza's Renato himself that SMS allowed the use of the same models - and, out of it came out this livery pack.
Not only it worked, but look reasonably well as they replicated a lot of 2017's GT3 real life liveries from a diverse array of series.
The textures are straight conversions, no upscaling of visual treatment done, so they are in a 2K resolution, which on close inspection might show some pixelization artifacts.

For that, I could do a recreation of the livery looking at the source material but only if I had the time.
