This is a very simple mod to adjust the position of the HUD in VR. It moves the HUD away from the driver to a position around dashboard level, makes it smaller so that all widgets can be easily seen, and removes the rotation so that it's "flat" instead of angled away. The result is a HUD in a much more suitable default position, ready for customising with the in-game HUD editor.
Install
Simply unzip this archive into My Documents\Automobilista 2 overwrite when prompted.
Uninstall
Delete oculussettings.xml, openvrsettings.xml, and starvrsettings.xml from the above folder. New default versions will be generated the next time you start AMS 2.
Notes
If you've changed your World Movement and/or G-force settings in the in-game Camera menu, they'll be reset to default. Just adjust them again in the menu.
Also, if you would like to move the HUD yourself, just open the relevant file and change the offset values for "HUDSettings".
Finally, I can only test this on Oculus Rift since that's the headset I have. It should work fine with others though.
