If you expect a high quality add-on, this is not your place. Thus, DON'T EXPECT A HIGH QUALITY ADD-ON. I didn't plan to release this, but... why I should keep this private? Whoever want to test and try how a modern F1 car would look with a Indycar kind of aeroscreen, this is your add-on.
Maybe if people like and support this (I don't expect it, but who knows...) I'll make improvements to the 3d model, texture and shaders. Not my priority, but I can do something.
The mesh is high poly, but I'll try to reduce in next updates to ~8k. I want to optimize this.
READ THIS FOR INSTALL
For the installation, this is going to be different compare to other of my add-ons. You should drag the 'aeroscreenf1.kn5' inside the livery folder that you want (only RSS FH21 car). Now, in order to complete the installation you should modify the ext_config.ini of that car and add the code in the .txt file that includes the download. Not because I want to complicate this, but because is the best way to install regarding the ext_config.ini of each car and livery creator.
If you have some troubles, feel free to ask me by any way.
CUSTOMISATION
You can customizate this by creating a solid colour plain texture of any size and calling it 'frame_aeroscreen.dds'.
Also you can add any pattern texture as carbon fiber.
And yes, I know someone want to ask me if I'm going to do this for the RSS Formula 2022 X Evo... Yes, I plan to do the same for that car, but not now. I want to learn and know how to improve this 3d model and see how it would fit in the that car.
