The best script out there, and with every update it keeps getting better. Not only does it make the game playable with a gamepad, it brings AC on par with GT and Forza games in terms of ease of use for casual gamepad users. If you want to play AC for the tons and tons of modded content, but you like the controls of those games and you don't have a wheel, this is a script for you.

And the best part is that you can customize the settings to your liking and turn down some of the assists if you don't like them. But if you're like me and just want a casual race on the latest track mod with the latest modded car, even the defaults are perfect.

This is by far the best gamepadfx script/app out there. However with the most recent update 1.3.1, im now facing an issue where some cars are undrive-able like they simply wont turn period. Dont know why this is, otherise i cant play assetto without this amazing gamepadfx :)

The best gamepad FX for sure!
Using that one since v1.1 came out and haven't run into a situation where I thought: "The script was at fault for that missed corner.",
unlike some others i've been using before.
Returning to Forza, Dirt Rallye etc. actually feels less polished on gamepad now for me, it's that good!
Kunos should hire the dude for AC2.

I tried almost all settings/scripts I could find and this is the best thing I ever tried (to my tastes). Big thank you !
Small question, I couldn't remember the stock wheel limit ? Mine is set at 180°, is it ok or should I go back with the stock value ?(which I cannot remember)

Your app and AC-X are certainly the 2 best apps for gamepad users. I guess it's a question of taste. Great work which allows gamepad users to not only play AC but also to be fast. The driving is smooth and the player can customize the settings according to his/her driving style. Kunos should pay you for your work!

Absolutely astounding. Best GamepadFX hands down. I usually play on a wheel. But recently my health problems have made that quite painful and unpleasant at times. I came within 2 tenths of my all time Nordshleife PB on the wheel with this. That is absolutely remarkable. It has allowed me to continue to play my all time favorite sim, even in my current condition. Thank you. times 200 million.

I'm so mesmerized by this that I don't even know where to start.
After so many years using workarounds, testing thousands of settings and never getting it right, this is literally gamechanger.
Works brilliantly with my gamepad (and its an average one). I can drive, cruise, race, time attack, drift... it can do it all, it adapt well with all cars I've tested and I can finally have a "gran turismo quality" experience in AC. And for my surprise I've just tested with the barebones keyboard and... IT WORKS well too! This can bring so much more people into AC now, it can even help disabled people to play.

Best script every single way..
Works perfect with drifting too..
If you use this script for drifting, remember to crank the 'max angle' slider all the way up in in game app. That way it will give you counter steer assist when you at all the way sideways.

Hands down the greatest Gamepad FX in AC.
The self steering is not only customizable but does not feel intrusive at all. The dampening is brilliant as well.
Unlike almost every other script based gamepad fx out there this doesn't change the steering completely but just adds in a touch of refinement to AC's stock gamepad steering.
And the in game app to quickly adjust the setting is an absolute godsend.
Kunos should pay you and just make this their default gamepad handling model. AC with this is better than all other racing games on PC currently it's INSANE.

Thanks so much man. This has totally transformed the way I play using a controller. The steering not only makes sense, but Its actually fun now and feels awesome. Like a whole new game.

Finally resurrect assetto corsa with this script. Great experience with a gamepad and the best gamepadfx for every racing situation. Very useful for who would like to have a rapid race without taking out all the wheel setup

This is an absolutely amazing mod. An issue I face with this mod is whenever I launch any race or event and when I hit "start" after setting up the car, the game either runs perfectly or it crashes, it's a 50/50 thing that happens with this mod, I have to close content manager and reopen it and re-launch the race to be able to drive.

Are you sure that's caused by this mod? I raced with it a lot, never had issues like that. But if you're sure it's my mod causing it, then send me a message with what servers or cars you play with and I'll look into it.

By far the best gamedpad FX script out there, the only one that actually worked for me with my Xbox controller for every situation, the car doesn't feel on rails like others and actually has weight. Thanks and keep this awessome work!

After playing AC for a year straight with numerous different tweaks to controller scripts, this singlehandedly removes all the guesswork and streamlines the experience for all types of cars. Impressive work on the script man. The amount of work that must have went into this must be insane.
