Acura Racing Formula Concept
New concept car, in all the time I've been making skins for Formula 1, there was a design that I knew was pending.
It is not what anyone would think because it is unusual to relate it to sports competitions of this type, but in the world of design, it is the benchmark.
We are talking about the main sponsor in this case, the American giant, a benchmark in the field of electronics, and one of the companies with the most capital currently, Apple.
As I said, I was especially excited about this livery, and I was planning it for a long time, I think all the effort has been worth it.
What I bring this time is a very clean livery, and I say this, because I have tried to avoid extremely aggressive designs, based on the elegance, which Apple usually shows in everything it does.
If we analyze the design in detail, we will see that the sponsor structure is very similar to that of Aston Martin.
And not because it has directly copied Aston Martin, but because a Formula 1 team all have many sponsors, and because it is a livery that is based on elegance. It can't be a very busy livery, that way there are spaces for sponsors.
With such similar structures, it leads them to be very similar.
As I said, this livery is based on the elegance that Apple inspires, its sponsors have been meticulously chosen to convey that feeling.
In this livery we can appreciate two subtle details, knowing their existence makes this livery special.
In the car we can see the existence of the sponsor, starting from Apple, specifically on a flat bottom, and the cockpit area, “iPhone 15 Pro”, when we name this very recent model we think, Titanium.
This is the most important detail, the wheels and the front spoiler, carry the specific texture that Apple used to present the carbon (or the wallpaper in short).
In addition to the small details in red, apart from representing Acura using its color palette, they represent one of the characteristic things of recent years. The PRODUCT(RED) model, this color is special, because for a few years Apple has been donating part of the profits from this specific color to disease research.
