Hi Simracers and F1 fans
Here is a requested ACFL 2020 championship for the F1 2020 season.
*EDIT: (24/03/2020) Wow this season went south quickly - Hope everyone is staying safe and social distancing as best they can - UK on lockdown for 3 weeks - enjoy the racing on or offline - any problems in getting this working just message me.
I'm a newbie to Assetto Corsa and sim racing/simcade racing so I set the championship up as a Novice level for myself and family to enjoy on each race weekend. It can also be set up as a a private server for friends as well if you know how - I used this site: http://www.atomicsimracing.net/atomic-diy/create-your-own-assetto-corsa-server/
It is initially set at Novice level utilising a full grid (2020 livery to date) with each venue having a 5 min Practice, 10 min Qualification and a 5 lap race - all of which can be adjusted to suit your preferences and progression
All the tracks can be found using Racedepartment or a google search. (I cannot link to these as per RaceDepartment 'Rules of Use')
Skins folder is for RSS 2019 model but ACFL skins come with the car which can be purchased for 4.99 euro here: https://www.***********/produit/acfl-f1-2020-for-ac-v-1/
Drag the 'content' folder into your Assetto Corsa root folder It includes all the tracks and the skins but no car
If you already have another 2019 F1 mod car (say RSS or ACFL 2019) it can be easily swapped in the settings
Drag the champs folder into: Your PC > documents > assetto corsa folder (When you run Assetto Corsa or Content Manager you will find it under championships 'F1 2020 ACFL'
Using either Assetto Corsa settings or what I found to be easier - 'Content Manager' - all the parameters are adjustable (See included screenshots using content manager)
Content Manger can be downloaded for free here: https://assettocorsa.club/content-manager.html
However, I do recommend paying for the full version to support its development and to get the full potential.
As ever - please recognise all the hard work done by the mod community to support any future development - Thank you
Hope you enjoy it and have as much fun as we have - Stay Safe
Any constructive comments gratefully received
