Just what would the AC Ferrari SF70H be like if it had the engine from the F2004?
I have successfully shoehorned the Ferrari F2004's Tipo 053 V10 engine into the back of the SF70H. As the engine is naturally aspirated, the ERS system was replaced with a 4MJ KERS similar to the one found in the F138. It has the same peak power output as the SF70H's ERS system and lasts for 33 seconds per lap. The car also has the F2004's traction control system.
As the engine revs so much higher, a new RPM LED lighting sequence has been included as well. I've changed the gearbox as well, so the gear ratios and differential are now fully adjustable. A larger fuel tank has been fitted as the V10 is more fuel-thirsty than the V6 Turbo Hybrid.
Apart from these changes, everything else is untouched. Any and all setups that were created for the vanilla car would work for this car as well, after changing the gear ratios, differential settings and fuel level to suit your needs.
You do need to own the 70th Anniversary pack (and AC of course) to use the mod. For the best possible experience, get the latest version of CSP as well.
Installation:
1) Extract ks_ferrari_sf70h from the RAR file to content/cars in the AC folder. Replace files if prompted to do so.
2) Create a copy of ks_ferrari_sf70h and rename it to ks_ferrari_sf70x.
3) Extract ks_ferrari_sf70x from the RAR file to content/cars in the AC folder. Replace files if prompted to do so.
4) Copy ks_ferrari_f2004.bank from content/cars/ks_ferrari_f2004/sfx to content/cars/ks_ferrari_sf70x/sfx.
5) Delete ks_ferrari_sf70h.bank and rename ks_ferrari_f2004.bank inside the sfx folder to ks_ferrari_sf70x.bank.
6) You can now delete ferrari_sf70h.kn5 and the other LODs present. I've edited lods.ini to take them from the vanilla AC Ferrari SF70H.
One cosmetic change that has been added is that the lettering on the sidewalls should change as you change the tyre compound in the setup screen. The diffuse textures were taken from CSP.
Do not drag and drop the file inside CM (especially if you've linked CM with Steam); just follow the above instructions. Also, download the file using a regular browser, not CM.
