It appears that a lot of work went into the creation of this mod -- and for the most part this mod and these vehicles are very realistic -- to a 'fault.'
For some reason the front end of these vehicles is 'transparent' at least from the 'cockpit view.' The interior of and exterior of these vehicles looks very very well replicated and authentic.
Unfortunately, these cars drive TOO much like 60s race cars: Even with the traction control set to maximum -using a keyboard- they're too difficult to drive: I spin out and oversteer far too often. The driving physics for these period of vehicles seems super realistic.
I've never owned an analog steering wheel ever in my life. I wonder how much easier it would be for me to drive cars, on sims for the PC with a steering wheel compared to the keyboard. With the keyboard, driving certain PC sims and cars (such as these 60s vehicles) just isn't quite 'do-able' -it's too difficult.
Otherwise, this looks and feels like an ultra-realistic mod. I also wish the modders knew how to put visible arms and hands on the steering wheel, which is also lacking in this mod.....and most other rFactor car mods....
