Hello everyone, I am very proud to share this AC skin within this community.
And the reason is quite special.
The driver of this gorgeous car is in fact Alessandro Marchetti, a close friend (and my dentist, too!) who has recently won the fight against Acute B-cell lymphoblastic leukemia (Ph+) thanks to a bone marrow transplant and to his outstanding strength and will to live.
Alessandro has managed to gain a full recovery in less than two years and has made a fantastic comeback to motorsport at the end of April 2022, winning both the opening races of the Italian GT Sprint Championship in his class on the Monza circuit, at the wheel of the Mercedes GT4 no. 207 together with his Norwegian team-mate Aleksander Schjerpen.
Alessandro - born in 1974 in Varese, 50 km north of Milan - has placed a unique adhesive on each side of his car (prepared by the Italian team Nova Race led by Luca Magnoni) to advertise the sensibilization campaign named #racetodonate he has created to promote the culture of bone marrow donation, particularly among young people aged between 18 and 35 years old, highlighting how something very simple and absolutely non-invasive as a blood sampling could literally save a human life.
