Hi guys!
Here is an "Advanced Track Skin" for Rainmaker's Montjuïc 1975. While the original circuit is a wonderful piece of sim-racing history, the version is approaching 20 years old and I felt it would do it justice to add some details.
This "Advanced Track Skin" adds 3D Trees, a rubbered in-line, about 6,000 more crowd members, "Catchfences" (if they qualify for the term) billboards, extra armco (for skinning purposes), extra brake markers, as well as a track skin which updates the circuit to be closer to the 1975 version which it is labelled. Specifically, I based the circuit as much on 1973 as I could, with the intention to breathe a bit more life into the circuit.
The circuit has more trees perhaps than real life, however without some more extensive surgery it would not look right to reduce them, and I decided not to do any 3d editing to the original KN5 so that it could be applied as a patch rather than a "new circuit".
There is an error which shows on loading to do with TreeFX - you can ignore this safely.
I recommend installing manually, as the update does overwrite the models.ini - so that it loads the additional objects. Once installed, select the "Junkboots" track skin to take advantage of texture updates.
It goes without saying, but Rainmaker's Montjuïc is required for this to work.
Enjoy!
