Attached is a high definition replica of a Fairlady Z campaigned in the SCCN by Yoshihiro Taniguchi during the 1972 season of Japanese GT racing. This livery has been built up for use with the gd_nissan_240zg model.

There is actually very little info on this car, other than the fact that the Fairlady sports a mirrored livery to the iconic winning Z driven by Haruhito Yanagida. With so few photos of this twin, it is easy to mistake for her more successful sister.

Lacking the same sponsorships leads me to make the assumption that this may have at one point been a team mate or spare car for Yanagida's team, which may have been passed on to be campaigned independently by Taniguchi.

The twin mimicked her sister's appearance for most of the 1972 season, before damage and weathering eventually led to a repaint and new color scheme for 1973. But again, I stress this is only an assumption.

This model is a joy to drive in Assetto and holds up decently with the recent
AC Legends GT Classic Pack by Bazza. Please look forward to a few more Fairlady ZG skins to come!
