After watching the Glover Trophy race at the Goodwood Revival a few weeks ago, I got the urge to race the Lotus 25 again, and found the competition a bit lacking. While we don't have any other of the other cars from 1963, I decided that maybe it was time for new skins to make it at least look like historically accurate racing from the era.
Since 20 seems to be a good number of grid spots, I chose the 20 most frequent competitors of the 1963 season, and tried my best to imitate the liveries and helmets most often used by them that year, while working around the limitations of having only the Lotus and the 1969 helmet to work with. I used the numbers from the British Grand Prix, since they were mostly consecutive, and (almost) everyone was there, but I wasn't trying to be accurate to that race, or any other, in particular.
I hope you like them, and have fun getting that tail out and sliding around corners!
(To increase immersion, I highly recommend you install Spudknuckles' Retro Coveralls for your pit crews! https://www.overtake.gg/downloads/retro-overalls-for-your-pit-crew.54463/)
(I think they only had the Prova number on Surtees' car at the Italian GP, but I like the way it looks so I put it on!)
