Wheel/Pedal Config Issue?

I have a Logitech G Pro Wheel and Fanatec Clubsport pedals that I can't get to work properly in LFS.

Both controllers are properly identified and detected on the Options/Control screen. And I'm able to assign throttle, brake and steering to their default axes there. (ie - the movement of the wheel and pedals are properly indicated on the Control/Options screen). I can also assign the functions I want to the wheel's buttons.

IOW, all appears to be functioning properly on the Options/Control screen.

However, when I try a race, hot lap or training, the engine just revs very high and I can't get the car to move.

Can anyone help me out in getting this straightened out?

EDIT: Got it sorted out - FWIW -the procedure was subtly different from more modern sims.
